Moodio Inc. ("Moodio," "we," "us," or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on the Moodio website and related Service. This Policy explains their purposes and the choices available to you. Read it with our Privacy Policy, which describes our wider personal-information practices. This Policy is a notice and does not replace any consent required by law.
Cookies are small files stored by a browser. Similar technologies can include local storage, pixels, tags, and software tools that recognize a device or record interactions. We use the term cookies in this Policy to cover these technologies where relevant. As of October 10, 2026, the cookies used on app.moodio.art are all first-party cookies, including cookies used by analytics software supplied by Google, and those application cookies are not used for advertising. First-party classification does not mean that no information is disclosed to an external provider. Technologies on other Service pages depend on their features, settings, and applicable notices and controls. Sections 3 through 6 describe our planned advertising rollout on both moodio.art and app.moodio.art separately from this current application configuration.
These technologies may collect or associate identifiers, IP addresses, approximate location, browser and device information, referring pages, interactions, and online activity with your browser, device, or account. Planned advertising tools may also process campaign or advertising identifiers and conversion events, within the information categories and purposes disclosed in our Privacy Policy and the applicable privacy controls before use.
Essential Service functions: login and session management, authentication flows including Google sign-in, secure access to private media through our content delivery network, sharing and review-link sessions, recording cookie choices, security, fraud prevention, and routing requests needed to provide the Service you request. Blocking these technologies may prevent the Service from working.
Preferences: remembering available settings and choices, including language preferences, to make the Service easier to use. Applicable controls and consent requirements depend on the technology and its function.
Analytics: measuring feature and website use, diagnosing errors, and understanding and improving Service performance. On app.moodio.art, analytics cookies are written only after analytics consent. Optional analytics are distinct from records needed to provide requested generation, administer credits and billing, maintain security, or diagnose failures. Our Privacy Policy explains our own product-event and generation records, which include IP addresses.
Planned advertising: as of October 10, 2026, app.moodio.art has no advertising pixels. We plan to introduce tools from Meta, TikTok, and Google Ads on moodio.art and app.moodio.art approximately one to two months after October 10, 2026. Timing may change. Planned purposes include conversion measurement and attribution, analysis of campaign effectiveness, and advertising optimization to promote Moodio. Retargeting, audience creation, or other personalized advertising will be used only within a specifically disclosed scope and subject to the applicable controls and any required consent. Advertising tracking will be off by default and will begin only after an affirmative advertising choice, subject to applicable law and recognized opt-out signals. Before activation, the relevant notices, choices, and consent mechanisms must be in place. An existing choice to permit analytics does not authorize this advertising processing.
As of October 10, 2026, on app.moodio.art, browser-based Google Analytics 4 loads only when you select All in the cookie banner and your browser is not sending Global Privacy Control (GPC). Path identifiers and URL query parameters are removed from browser analytics data; sharing, review, sign-in, and administration pages are excluded. For this browser-based GA4 configuration, Google advertising storage, advertising user data, advertising personalization, and Google Signals are disabled. For users who have consented to analytics, server-side GA4 receives events for generation start, completion, and failure, saving to Library, and timeline export. Relevant identifiers, device information, online activity, and technical information may be disclosed to Google for these analytics functions. Provider processing is subject to the applicable configuration, contracts, and privacy notices.
Content promotion is governed separately by Section 5.5 of the Terms of Service and Section 7 of the Privacy Policy. Those sections describe the limited promotion permission for eligible free-plan Output, including otherwise private Output, and the protections for other private content. That content-use permission does not authorize analytics or advertising tracking, account matching, or disclosure of audience-matching information.
When enabled under these safeguards, planned advertising partners may collect or combine information about activity across websites, apps, or services for the disclosed advertising purposes, and may process information for their own purposes under applicable terms and privacy notices. These tracking purposes do not authorize disclosure of private prompts, Inputs, or Outputs to advertising partners. Certain advertising-related disclosures may be a sale or sharing of personal information or processing for targeted advertising under applicable privacy laws, even without a payment for the information. Our Privacy Policy explains the corresponding rights where those laws apply. Relevant provider and purpose information will be available through cookie or privacy settings before activation and kept current.
Browser and device controls. You may use your browser’s or device’s settings to block, delete, or limit cookies and related storage. Controls vary, may apply only to that browser or device, and may affect Service functionality. Removing cookies may also remove stored preferences. Browser cookie controls do not necessarily prevent every advertising-related disclosure or exercise every legal opt-out right.
Service controls and requests. As of October 10, 2026, the app.moodio.art cookie banner offers Necessary or All. Necessary permits essential technologies; All also permits the disclosed optional analytics. Browser-based GA4 is additionally subject to the GPC condition in Section 6. That existing All choice is limited to analytics. You may change or withdraw consent through available cookie controls or by contacting support@moodio.art.
Before advertising tracking begins, our controls on the website and application will offer separate analytics and advertising preferences. The first layer will provide a nonessential-technology rejection option as easy to use and prominent as acceptance, together with access to preference settings. An affirmative choice for the specifically disclosed planned advertising may be requested before activation; merely accepting analytics or continuing to use the Service will not provide that choice.
Before the rollout, we will provide a persistent Your Privacy Choices link on the website and application. It will allow you to withdraw advertising consent and exercise applicable sale, sharing, or targeted-advertising opt-outs, covering relevant information disclosures rather than only cookie storage. You may also contact support@moodio.art. We may request only information reasonably needed to identify the relevant browser, device, or account, subject to legal limits. These opt-outs and advertising-consent withdrawals will not require identity verification, sign-in, or creation of an account.
Consent. Where applicable law requires prior consent for a nonessential technology or processing purpose, that use is permitted only after the required consent is obtained. Closing the banner or continuing to browse does not constitute consent. Choices must be specific to the disclosed purposes and informed by the relevant provider and information details. We will record the applicable choice and notice version. You may withdraw consent through an available control or by contacting us, with withdrawal as easy as giving consent. We will stop processing that relies on the withdrawn consent. Consent to the disclosed analytics does not automatically extend to planned advertising or other new purposes. If purposes or activities materially depart from what a consent covered, we will seek fresh consent where required before that processing begins. Processing sensitive information or minors' information remains subject to additional consent and use restrictions imposed by law.
Some browsers or extensions send opt-out preference signals, such as Global Privacy Control (GPC). As of October 10, 2026, on app.moodio.art, browser-based GA4 does not load when GPC is enabled, even if All has been selected in the cookie banner. A legacy Do Not Track setting is distinct from a legally recognized opt-out preference signal.
Where applicable law requires recognition of a signal, we honor it for the relevant sales, sharing, or targeted advertising. For the planned rollout, this will apply to the browser or device and associated profiles and, when the consumer is known, the account as required by law. Relevant browser-based and server-side advertising disclosures, if used, will reflect those choices. An earlier advertising or analytics choice will not override a legally recognized opt-out signal. Its later absence does not by itself reverse a known user’s existing opt-out. Our privacy controls will show whether an opt-out request or signal has been processed. Session cookies generally expire when the browser session ends. Persistent technologies use durations appropriate to their disclosed purposes and may remain until expiration or deletion. Information already collected may be retained after a cookie is removed only as reasonably necessary for the disclosed purposes and applicable legal requirements, within the periods or criteria described in our Privacy Policy and subject to applicable rights. Provider retention may differ under applicable terms and privacy notices.
Before enabling planned advertising technologies, we will make information identifying the technologies and providers, their purposes, applicable Service surfaces, storage durations, and relevant privacy notices available through cookie or privacy settings, and maintain that information as the configuration changes. Where an information-retention period cannot be specified, we will provide the criteria used to determine it. Removing a cookie does not by itself delete information previously received by us or a provider.
We may update this Policy as technologies, practices, or legal requirements change. We will post the updated version and Last updated date, give additional notice for material changes, and obtain any legally required consent before the relevant processing begins. Section 14 of our Privacy Policy governs applicable advance notice. Activating the specific advertising plan described here and in the Privacy Policy, after it has actually been notified to you and any notice period already owed has been completed, does not by itself start an additional 30-day notice period if implementation stays within the disclosed purposes, information categories, specifically disclosed partners, and choice framework. Merely posting this Policy does not substitute for required advance notice. Material expansions remain subject to applicable notice and consent requirements. This does not shorten an existing notice obligation, replace legally required consent, or authorize new uses of information collected under earlier privacy commitments.
